Description
Glow, without the fight. A lightweight PDRN serum that brightens, hydrates, and supports your skin barrier, gentle enough for twice-daily use, with no purge phase and no peeling. Finished with a soft veil of peony and white tea.
How to apply
- Cleanse. Start with clean, slightly damp skin, your serum absorbs best this way.
- 2–3 drops. Press the serum into face and neck. A little goes a long way.
- Massage in. Follow with your moisturiser, and SPF in the morning.
Use twice daily. The 50 ml bottle lasts roughly three months at this pace.
Plays well with the rest of your routine. No conflicts with vitamin C, retinol, or exfoliating acids. If you're rebuilding a stressed barrier, it also works beautifully as the only active step.

Frequently asked questions
What can I realistically expect?
Hydration and a smoother feel are usually noticeable from the first applications. Brightness and evenness of tone build gradually with consistent twice-daily use — think weeks, not days. Skincare that promises overnight transformation is usually overpromising; we'd rather you know what to expect.
Will it irritate my skin?
The formula was built around gentleness: no exfoliating acids, no retinol, and soothing ingredients like beta-glucan, allantoin, and panthenol. It does contain a light fragrance (parfum), so if your skin reacts to fragrance specifically, patch-test on your inner arm first. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Why is the serum pink?
The soft pink comes from a cosmetic colorant (CI 16255) — a nod to the K-beauty serums that inspired us. It's not the colour of PDRN itself, and it rinses clean; it won't tint your skin.
Is it really Korean?
Alurea is Korea-inspired: our formulation draws on Korean skincare research and the glass-skin philosophy, and our supplier's R&D operates in South Korea. The serum is bottled and shipped from the Netherlands.
Can I use it with my current routine?
Yes. It layers under moisturiser and makeup without pilling and doesn't conflict with common actives.
